Ourglass, is a 12" x 5" (height x diameter) hourglass, filled with crude oil.
With use and time - more than five years- and, thanks to the adherence properties of crude oil, the glass will become completely opaque...
thus eventually not permitting us to see the passing of time.
Yet, we will be able to hear it:
An original recording of the ticking sound,- amplified by the bowl in wich is placed- accompanies the piece.
